Learning and Caring Environment (LACE) report presented by Dr. Patricia Cornett

We invite you to attend one of the upcoming presentations on the report generated by the Learning and Caring Environment (LACE) assessment team for the Department of Internal Medicine. The LACE team was charged by the School of Medicine/vice-Dean Lucey and funded by the Kern Institute for Transformation in Medical Education to perform a birds-eye view of the clinical learning environments associated with the Department of Medicine.

We aim to present highlights of the report including the many positive things that were identified as well as areas for improvement.  Most importantly we wish to generate a conversation with each of you on your reactions to the report and areas you think we should focus on as we begin the process of developing action plans.
