UCSF is proud of its 140-year long history of providing quality medical care at Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, where more than 2,000 UCSF physicians and staff work side-by-side with the dedicated employees of the San Francisco Department of Public Health.

Together, the people of ZSFG deliver the San Francisco population — regardless of ability to pay — around-the-clock trauma, psychiatric and emergency care, including outpatient treatment and other important medical services.
